Palmyra Skin Clinic is a specialised medical clinic dedicated to the prevention, early detection and treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The practice provides a wide range of personalised and comprehensive skin cancer services – including skin cancer checks, surgical & non-surgical skin cancer treatment
Our aim and focus is to create a harmonious working environment for all staff and providing exceptional skin cancer services to the community of Perth.
The position is part-time (2-3 days per week) or casual on a job share basis with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skill, ability to multitask and willingness to assist and do what is required. Being the first contact for patient, you play a very important role in contributing to positive patient experience at our clinic.
Essentials:
- The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to both patients and clinic staffs
- Attention to detail when managing documentation, booking appointments and filing.
- A strong work ethic, integrity, commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to a small team as well as to the business
- Reliable and punctual
- We utilise a range of medical software which requires strong computer skills – including experience with Microsoft office software such as Words and Excel.
- We are looking for a responsible team player with the ability to multitask.
- Be very organised and remain professional at all times
- A positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to help when needed is critical
- The ability to work harmoniously within a team environment.
- A very high level of organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- The salary for the role will be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet patient and assist them with enquiries and appointments.
- Answer and respond to telephone enquiries courteously and professionally at all times.
- Book appointments for doctors and nurses
- Check and respond to emails from patients and doctors
- Accurately process patient payments via cash, EFTPOS, and direct bill transactions.
- Ensure the accurate and confidential storage & retrieval of patient personal and financial information.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the clinic as well as getting the clinic ready in the morning
- Stocking and ordering of comsumables
