Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced casual Medical Receptionist to join our long established Specialist practice, who is passionate about providing excellent patient care IMMEDIATE START

Key Responsibilities:

• Dealing with telephone enquiries, bookings and emails
• Meet and greet patients
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Patient invoicing and receipting
• Maintaining electronic patient records 
• Referral management
• General admin support for the Practice Manager and clinical team

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience working within a similar role (specialist experience preferred)
• Previous experience with medical software desired
• Familar with MS Office Suite, Windows environment
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong patient focus
• Ability to multitask
• The ability to work within a busy team environment
• Demonstrate excellent organisation and problem solving skills
• Ability to travel with own transport
• Professional presentation
• High attention to detail

The position on offer is casual for 4-5 days per week for 6 months with the possibility of extension to permanent full-time or part-time. The office hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00 am to 5.30 pm.
