Bannockburn Surgery is a large general practice located between Geelong and Ballarat. Established over 40 years ago, Bannockburn Surgery services the growing community of Golden Plains Shire and surrounds. We believe in providing the type of care you would hope to receive yourself. Many of our patients live, work, and go to school in the local community and value the personal and professional care they receive from the team of health professionals.
About the role
An opportunity exists for a vibrant and engaging person with the ability to provide a Medical Receptionist role. This role is perfect for someone who has a professional approach, is a team-player, good communication and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
About you
Due to its fast pace and growing environment, having previous medical reception experience is preferable however not essential. You will also:
- Have proven experience within a customer service environment
- Maintain attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, process orientated
- Display empathy and understanding
- Understand client and staff confidentiality
- Work with integrity and reliability
- Remain flexible
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team with a willingness to share resources, knowledge and information
- Have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Have strong written and verbal communication
Hours:
2 days per week on-site (10:00AM - 18:30PM)
Saturdays 09:45AM - 12:15PM (in rotation amongst reception team)
*opportunity for additional shifts covering leave
Further training can be supported for the appropriate candidate.
