We are looking for a kind and empathetic person to join our team for up to 3 Doctors in a clinic that also supports occupational health. You must have a minimum of 2 years medical experience to apply and knowledge of the software; Best practice.
We are a growing practice that needs someone with excellent customer service skills and a confident phone manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of medical reception experience
- Proficiency in Best Practice software
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Flexibility in working hours based on demand
- Positive attitude and willingness to take the initiative
- Knowledge of Medicare/DVA Billing item numbers

- Passion for healthcare excellence and knowledge of accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Front desk administration: answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing claims, and payments
- Compassionate liaison with patients, families, GPs, and other health professionals
- Organising and updating patient-related correspondence and results
- General reception, administrative, and medical support duties
- Ongoing support to GPs, practice nurses and practice manager
- Serving as a friendly point of contact between patients and the clinical team
- Independent and collaborative working abilities
