We are a busy General Practice clinic in Wantirna who have been providing quality care to the community for more than 30 years. We are looking to further expand our staff and find the right people to join our friendly and supportive team.
About You
You will be an excellent communicator, compassionate, professional and responsible. The role calls for a high level of multi-tasking coupled with strong receptionist skills such as time management, and the ability to prioritise duties. To be successful in this role you should demonstrate flexibility and understand the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality.
The Role
Duties include but not limited to:
- Greeting patients in a friendly and caring manner.
- Answering phones/emails promptly with the ability to prioritise appropriate tasks.
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Billing and processing of payments
- Liaising with doctors and nurses
- Building an excellent working relationship with other staff and doctors
- Maintaining an organised work space
- Triaging patients
Experience in reception or customer service will be viewed favourably but not essential for the right candidates as full training and ongoing support will be supplied.
Hours
We have a variety of part time shifts available including day and/or evening hours.
