 North Shore Medical Centre is a non-corporate, GP owned and fully accredited medical practice caring for locals and visitors for over 24 years. Our focus is on quality of medical care through consistent Dr/Patient relationships and thorough analysis, ongoing surveillance and reporting of medical issues. 

 We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to apply their fantastic customer service skills in a role that will keep you busy and stimulated in a great, supportive team culture. 

 The Opportunity: 

We are ideally looking for a Best Practice experienced individual to fulfill the key position of Medical Receptionist.

 This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and committed team and make a direct impact on improved health outcomes in the local Mudjimba/Pacific Paradise and broader Sunshine Coast community.

 The key responsibilities of the role are to:

• Act as the first point of contact for the Practice
• Manage all incoming telephone calls and enquiries
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain client appointment system
• Maintain the reception and waiting room areas in a neat and tidy manner
• Various administration duties for the Clinic

 The Person:

• Demonstrated experience in a General Practice Medical Reception
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong Microsoft Office suite experience
• Experience with medical practice management software (BestPractice)
• Highly developed organisational, time management and problem solving skills
