Your role will encompass providing support to the clinical staff and patients.
You'll have a fantastic telephone manner, love engaging with people both on the phone and in the clinic.
You would be the type of person who has keen attention to detail.
You will be able to prioritise and work to meet deadlines, enjoy working in a close team environment, and contribute to the day to day running of the Clinic by using your initiative.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in health service or management or equivalent qualification
- Proficient in IT, marketing and social media platform
- Minimum 2 years experience in health sector or educational sector or management
- Communication skills - expected to have kind, considerate and compassionate verbal and non-verbal skills
- Accountability and taking responsibility
- Proactive approach and diligent in follow through tasks till completion
Tasks & responsibilities
- Clinical administrative support -managing patient & referrer inquiries, management appointment scheduling, patient accounts and billing, management of communications and email correspondence meet and greet patients
- Typing letters, correspondence and timely communication
- Organisation, planning and priority setting for the clinic to run effectively and efficiently
- Responding to phone calls as a priority
- Attending to emails in a timely manner
- Engaging with mental health consumers with respect, care and compassion
