Work Hours - To apply you must be reliable and available for all shifts during these times.
Work hours will be rostered between
• 7am-7pm Monday to Friday (eg. 7am til 3pm / 8am til 4pm / 9am til 5pm / 11am -til 7pm)
• 8 am - 1pm Saturday (rotating roster),
• 9am-12pm Sunday(rotating roster).
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with inquiries and appointments
- Answer and respond to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Accurately process patient payments via cash, Eftpos
- Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records
- At all times maintain the confidentiality of patient personal and financial information
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area and clinic rooms
- Debtor recovery
- Leasing with clients in a professional manner
- Conduct health/occupational screenings and assessments for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and explanations.
- Report any abnormalities or concerns to medical professionals.
- Interact with a diverse range of individuals, including patients, visitors, and staff members.
Requirements
- Previous medical reception experience highly regarded – (Pracsoft and Medical Director)
- Excellent computer skills
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and leave personal/external issues at the door
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to empathize with patients
- Strong work ethic, can-do attitude, ability to perform to KPIs
- Punctual, reliable
- Police check required
