Dusk till Dawn Sleep Centre is a diagnostic and treatment centre, concentrating on overnight Sleep Studies and Therapy for patients who have a diagnosed Sleep Disorder. We have multiple locations on the Sunshine Coast including Tewantin, Gympie, and Maroochydore
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist who is a quick learner, with excellent customer service skills, and is capable of multi-tasking in a busy clinic environment on a fulltime basis. You will be required to work in our office in Maroochydore and sometimes our head office in Tewantin when sort staffed.
We are seeking an individual who has the skills and passion for delivering high-quality customer service to patients in a professional caring environment. You will have direct face-to-face contact with our patients on a daily basis, so your superior relationship skills will be highly regarded.
This is a rewarding role in our rapidly growing business where you will be required for administration roles including arranging appointments and managing the reception area. In addition, supporting our Sleep Technicians. by downloading and cleaning Sleep Studies.
Desirable Qualifications and Qualities:
- Previous Medical Reception experience is essential
- Medical background is desirable
- Previous experience working within a sleep-related role and or with Sleep studies is preferred

- Excel at time management, with a professional attitude
- Reliability is essential
- Computer literacy, accurate keyboard skills together with excellent communication skills and presentation are required
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft and Windows programs and working with various customised software packages
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to change
- Must have driver's license and own vehicle
Responsibilities include:
- Front-of-house reception/welcoming patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Liaising with patients and staff efficiently
- Deal appropriately with incoming calls, emails and recorded messages
- Data Entry of patient details
- General administration/filing duties
- Issue invoices and receipts for patients via EFTPOS, cash and DVA
- Maintain reception area
- Follow up with paperwork to ensure all is complete and correct
- Ability to multi-task in a professional manner and show initiative
- Provide dedicated services for patients both face-to-face & over the telephone
- Report to referring physicians, hospitals and medical service providers to ensure appropriate provision of products and services to patients
- Conduct the sale of new or additional products and services
- Download Sleep Study data
- Sterilising of Clinic equipment
- Prepare Reports/Letters for GP's
