SalarySt George Vascular Laboratory is located at Kogarah, within the Medical Suites of the St George Private Hospital. We are a busy Vascular Surgical service providing both Vascular Sonography and Vascular Consultation services. We are seeking reliable, honest and motivated people to join our high level team.
Essential criteria:
-‐ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
-‐ Ability to attend to patients in a professional and courteous manner;
-‐ Able to work in a multidisciplinary team;
-‐ Maintain confidentiality;
-‐ Previous experience working in a busy medical practice or hospital setting;
-‐ Proven ability to work calmly, efficiently & effectively with attention to detail;
-‐ Working knowledge of HCN Blue Chip / Medical Director software or similar;
-‐ Ability to understand medical terminology;
Responsibilities include:
-‐ Answering telephones and making outgoing calls as required;
-‐ Managing patient appointments;
-‐ Maintaining patient database;
-‐ Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence / reports / letters;
-‐ Filing, scanning, faxing, printing, photocopying and typing;
-‐ Patient billing and completion of end of day’s reconciliations;
-‐ Liaising with clinical and non-clinical staff;
-‐ Assisting Practice Manager with ad-‐hoc administrative tasks;
-‐ Preparation and re-‐stocking of work areas and doctor’s rooms.
Employment type:
-‐ Permanent part‐time employment available Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
You may also be required to provide leave coverage.
