Dr Kevin O'Regan is seeking an organised Medical Secretary to join our clinic on a part-time basis, approximately 23 hours per week assisting the doctor and Practice Manager in the operations of our practice.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Greet and coordinate patients before and after clinic appointments
- Handle booking, rescheduling and cancellation of patient appointments, procedures and follow-ups
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain patient accounts and process their payments
- Perform typing duties as required
- Liaise between patients and the doctor to resolve issues and answer questions and concerns
- Prior experience in medical administration is essential
- Proficiency with Genie is preferable
- A neat personal presentation
- Administration or customer service experience
- Effective communication skills with patients, visitors, other admin staff, medical practitioners, nurses and hospital bed managers
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointment scheduling
- Free onsite parking in a central location
- Direct access to train station outside Wesley Hospital

Dr O'Regan started private practice at The Wesley Hospital in August 2016 and has a sub-specialty in inflammatory bowel disease
