Medical Secretary -Part time

 We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Medical Secretary to work generally 8-4.30 Monday & Friday, ensuring the ongoing success of the practice.

Job Description:

• Booking patient appointments.
• Answering patient and other external inquiries (phone, email and in person).
• Consultation billing and receipting 
• Booking surgery including producing quotes and maintaining theatre bookings.
• Providing office administration (paperless practice).
• Support and assist in a range of administration tasks.
• Flexibility a must to assist with the smooth running of the practice during sick/holiday leave. 

Qualifications & experience:

•  Experience in a support/patient-focused role within a medical practice or similar.
• A strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. 
• Ability to work collegiately as part of our team. 
• Experience using Genie medical software is highly regarded.
