Merchandiser/Sales Team Support Person - 3 Days A Week

The Brunnings range spans approx. 800 products, many of which can be found in leading supermarkets, hardware, discount department stores and garden centres.  It is a little known fact that Brunnings is one of Australia's longest surviving businesses and brands with roots going back to the 1800's.

Brunnings South Australia is seeking a person who is energetic and enthusiastic to join our motivated sales driven team.  

The main duties and responsibilities include - 

• Work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of time management skills
• Professionalism, punctuality and be of good presentation
• Develop relationships at store level
• Ability to communicate effectively 
• Develop technical skills and product knowledge to enable effective, professional advice and service 
• Maintaining shelves by ensuring they’re kept tidy, clean and sufficiently replenished 
• Ordering products
• Required to take photos of displays, etc. via camera phone
• Signage and pricing label are correct and displayed 
• Report all customer concerns (or own observations) to the Sales Team 
• Maintaining accurate records
• Work in accordance with all Company Policies and Procedures, WHS guideline and business code of ethics

Must have:

• Have a current driver’s license
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Be highly motivated and results driven person 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Previous merchandising experience – essential 
• Previous sales experience - not essential
• Reliability and be a true team player 
• Computer, literacy and numeracy skills
• Have a good sense of urgency and a can-do attitude
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements 
• Great attention to detail 
• A positive and proactive approach to work
• Central living location preferred
