The opportunity
In this exciting role as ANZ Marketing Manager, you will develop and own the Motorola consumer experience across the various touch points - social, CRM, digital communities, and key partner marketing executions. Your role is to revamp and uplift the current Motorola footprint to deliver an outstanding and distinctive brand experience for our consumers via Motorola owned and key partner channels. You will report to the Head of Marketing, Greater Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- Ownership of the marketing activity for the Motorola digital channels.
- Deliver strategies for digital marketing campaigns to support brand communication, new product launches and co-marketing initiatives.
- Leadership of the planning and execution of marketing campaigns with key partners.
- Develop initiatives to ensure consistency of messaging and assets between Motorola and partner touch points.
Social and Digital
- Social media channel development and daily management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Management of Motorola online community channels.
- Develop, plan and manage the content calendars across various platforms and handles.
- Lead the generation and user acquisition campaigns on CRM.
- Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reflect their priorities on the digital plans.
- Evaluate emerging digital technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Content and Asset Management
- Create scroll stopping content to drive visibility, talkability and scale.
- Liaise with global and regional teams to manage/localise global assets based on the brand communication strategies.
- Lead localisation of assets with agencies.
- Manage the Motorola asset sharing platforms – including continuous maintenance of assets and providing proactive updates of co-marketing assets to partners.
Partner Marketing
- Support partner marketing executions to ensure consistency with Motorola executions and brand guidelines.
- Develop and manage playbooks for Motorola asset guidelines with partners.
- Monitor partner marketing campaigns and optimise processes for execution reporting.
- Liaise with carrier and retail account managers to develop marketing campaigns that support commercial objectives.
Budget and Reporting
- Analyse and produce performance reports of all of our Motorola touch points - social, CRM, digital communities.
- Continually monitor, evaluate and optimise partner marketing activity to ensure effective communication impact and demand generation aligned to Motorola objectives.
- Support budget management and work through Motorola processes and systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in marketing positions with a good understanding of all disciplines in the marketing mix
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing
- Agency and internal stakeholder/relationship management and delivering results
- Strong skills in digital platforms and asset management, and delivering campaigns through the line
- Ability to evaluate results to ensure continuous improvement
- Proven ability to achieve targets in brand awareness, market share, sales, leads, etc for campaigns/initiatives
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and the ability work confidently, independently and as part of a team
- High-level organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, flexible and adaptable to changes
- Good work ethic and personal accountability
- Possess graphic design skills and experience is a bonus
