Reporting to the Head of Client Services for Private Wealth, you will lead a National team of Relief Associate Private Bankers, and Complex Support Associate Private Bankers. With a focus on uplifting capability within your team to provide clients with a world class private wealth service. You will be instrumental in helping grow the business with a deep focus on quality, relationships, and service, and to drive consistent and effective delivery of our client service proposition. As a National Director, Client Services in Private Wealth, you are accountable for managing strategic resource allocation nationally for planned leave, in addition to leading a small team of associates completing our most complex tasks.
Other day to day responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a highly engaged team of professionals with a high performance, team-based service delivery culture.
- Working multiple stakeholders across multiple areas of the bank to develop, lead, support, communicate and embed initiatives to drive best practice client service.
- Working with the Head of Client Services, and other state directors to establish, optimise and monitor reporting to proactively manage client service and associate performance.
- Diligent management of compliance practices, including but not limited to privacy, KYC due diligence, Advice types and AML requirements
- Establishing an 'operating rhythm' to drive focused execution with alignment to Private Wealth priorities, including digital transformation.

What do I need?
As an experienced people leader within banking or financial services, you'll be able to demonstrate your ability to attract, develop, motivate and retain high performing team members. Coming from a Client Services background, you will have strong knowledge around service level agreements and providing and exceptional customer experience. Workflow planning and capacity modelling are essential to the core function of this position. Prior experience within private banking or wealth will be highly regarded.
