With leading products in a number of categories the business is now looking to execute further growth across the Australian wholesale market.
This is a leadership position and will provide an opportunity to have a major impact across the Australian meat industry for one of Australia's largest food businesses. Role requirementsAs the Head of Wholesale Sales you will drive sales across multiple sales channels with a focus on the broad wholesale markets. This will be achieved by having a high level of commercial ability and by building outstanding relationships within the channel.
This a large and complex business, with a broad SKU range within a variety of categories. The key elements of the role will be:
- Drive profitability by understanding the meat category.
Manage livestock and market forces to best maximise profit and maintain product availability
- Set the strategy and partner with the broader business and external stakeholders.
Lead cross functional teams to drive category and brand growth.
- Build strong relationships with senior management based on trust and mutual benefit and value
- Identify new opportunities and potential threats both locally and across the the international meat space.
- Lead a team with a focus on developing your bench strength.
- Lead the wholesale and field sales groups to deliver the key business objectives.
