The opportunity:
This newly created position will see the successful candidate play a key role within the WA Metering team providing Office and Contract Administration Support for our new Metering contract with Western Power. This will be a varied and busy role that will report directly to the Contracts Manager.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual with high attention to detail and accuracy in processes. A passionate professional, that’s a team player and happy to help with anything would be the ideal candidate to join our growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the delivery of superior levels of customer service to clients and customers
- Liaise with Managers and Supervisors for planning, resourcing, delivery, and reporting of key field activities.
- Manage client, sub-contractor, and supplier invoicing
- Complete monthly KPI and Financial reporting
- Report on crew performance, client billing status, works progress and supplier costs
- Checking and processing e-timesheets for employees weekly & fortnightly, and answering any payroll related queries for the contract
- Process staff reimbursements and payroll adjustments
- Contribute to overall teamwork in the delivery of the contract
- Perform general administrative support duties and data entry
About you:
- A qualification in Business Administration and/or previous experience in a similar role would be considered highly advantageous
- A critical thinker with enthusiasm and drive to achieve good results
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst still being a team player
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Ability to take an innovative approach and make the role your own
- Analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Competent keyboard skills and proven experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
