JD Lighting Electrical Services is seeking a knowledgeable to and dedicated Office Administrator to join us on a full-time basis, handling the back-end and behind the scenes operation of our trade business.
The ideal candidate will be the partner of a sole trader with relevant experience for this role, or a tradesperson looking to get off the tools but keep their hand in the industry!
Duties & responsibilities:
- Act as a PA, handing operational tasks with an aim to free up the director’s time
- Oversee ordering of materials and supplies
- Prepare and send out invoices
- Monitor incoming emails, responding or redirecting as required
- Create and schedule jobs in our Job Management Software
- Manage and organise tasks through Trello
- Use initiative to offer insights and propose better ways of running things
Experience and attributes:
- Prior experience as an Office Administrator, particularly for an electrical contracting company or similar
- Good computer skills and knowledge of with relevant software, or ability to quickly pick them up
- Experience with XERO is advantages
- Familiarity with electrical products and suppliers
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organisational skills
