Job description

Multiple opportunities available in various locations with varying contract durations and hours across Melbourne.

Details:

  • Salary: $34.58 per hour + super (inclusive of casual loading; Modern Award applies)
  • Available locations:
    Bairnsdale
    Echuca
    Wodonga
    Rosebud
    Brunswick
    Greensborough
    Reservoir
    Elsternwick
    Camberwell
    Oakleigh
    Melbourne CBD
    Boronia
    Mornington
    Richmond
  • Duration:
    Varying durations per location. All contracts for a minimum of 8 weeks.
  • Training will be provided at the end of June 2024 with roles commencing early July 2024.
  • Must have full working rights for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients upon arrival, determine their needs, and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services.
  • Conduct pre-appointment calls with clients and liaise with internal administrative centers.
  • Accept and organise drop-off tax returns as per the District Manager's plan.
  • Maintain appointment schedules, manage workflow, and address any staffing issues with District Manager.
  • Verify payment details on completed returns before lodgment.
  • Handle emails promptly and manage client data in HandiSoft efficiently.
  • Collect and record various forms of payments, perform banking duties as needed.
  • Implement COVID-19 safety measures and maintain a paperless office environment.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and contribute to office cleanliness.


Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous reception or admin experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
