Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.
Job DescriptionAbout the role
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the QLD Spray Seal Operations Manager provides efficient management of our resources and subcontractors across QLD and NSW. Experience in civil road works, as well as a solid track record in people leadership is required.
Duties
- Provide technical and operational advice relating to spray seal treatment selection and design
- Liaise with all members of the delivery team
- Regular onsite inspections
- Manage operational issues in a timely manner
- Client liaison and business development
- Accountable for project delivery within budgeted requirements
- Assist with monthly forecasting requirements and reporting
- Ensure compliance on sites in accordance with HSEQ requirements
- People and learning management
- Compliance, review and assist with SPA management systems and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with civil road works
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in a P&L environment
- Knowledge of Road Construction Machinery
- Demonstrated Leadership, Interpersonal and Organisation Skills
