Position: OSHC Assistant (6-12 years)

Term: Fixed-term part-time | 2024 Contract

Hours: 31 hours per fortnight:

- School terms:

• Week 1 - 15 hours - 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday;
• Week 2 - 16 hours - 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, (1 hour earlier every second Monday for a fortnightly meeting 2pm-6pm)

- School holidays - (Negotiable) Monday to Friday as per Vacation Care/Montessori Holiday Program duty roster

Starting: ASAP

Ceasing: 13/12/2024 with the possibility of an extension

About the Role

Brisbane Montessori School (BMS) invites applications for an OSHC Assistant to join our 6-12-year-old environment. On-the-job training will be provided along with ongoing professional development opportunities. This fixed-term, part-time 2024 contract is 31 hours per fortnight during the term and school holidays - Monday to Friday as per Vacation Care/Montessori Holiday Program duty roster.

Successful applicants will have the following

• Certificate III in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
• Positive Notice Blue card (working with children check)
• Current First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR HLTAID009 Qualifications.

• Relevant cover letter addressed to Joanne Weir, OSHC Coordinator.
• Current resume, and;
• Contact details for at least two referees.
