We have an exciting opportunity for a PA/Office Administrator to join our high performing team at our Loganholme office, in Queensland.

THE ROLE 

As a PA/Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the QLD General Manager and Senior Managers across the business. Your responsibilities include overseeing a variety of activities, providing administrative support, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. You will help plan daily schedules and liaise closely with key stakeholders to drive outcomes. You will be required to communicate with the team and external parties in person, over the phone and via email. As such your strong verbal and written communication skills as well as your excellent attention to detail will be key to your success.

Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to:  

  • Provide administrative assistance to the General Manager (e.g., handling correspondence, team meeting scheduling, assistance with meeting prep, streamlining, and standardising reporting as required.    
  • Prepare, coordinate and review high level communication including submissions, briefing notes and correspondence, to respond to issues and enquiries   
  • Coordinate and organise the management of events/conferences, arranging company birthday celebrations and other employee related gifts.   
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company processes, procedures and policies by monitoring information sources and building strong working relationships with key company contacts   
  • Key contact for office and building-related issues, supported by reception, including but not limited to arranging all trades, general maintenance, cleaning, secure bin management and quarterly pest control

To be successful for this role you'll need:  

  • Previous experience home building industry would be advantageous
  • Have a friendly and outgoing personality    
  • Have a great attitude towards new challenges & professional development     
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills   
  • Strong prioritising skills   
  • Exceptionally high accuracy and strong attention to detail   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills   
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and to use own initiative   
  • Ability to build a network and work in a team environment
