A premier, Tier 1 Australian law firm is seeking Paralegals to support their Litigation team in Melbourne on a matter that will start on 4 March 2024.
You’ll work from the firm’s office on Collins St in the Melbourne CBD exclusively on projects supporting the firm’s leading litigation team on a large-scale litigation matter.
Your responsibilities will include legal research but also some logistical tasks to assist with case management, wheeling trolleys of documents to and from court, assisting in the set up and take down of break out rooms, printing, proof reading, and indexing files.
Experience a collegiate atmosphere while receiving top-notch training. Starting March 4th through March 15th, expect typical hours from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Following that, morning and afternoon shifts will run from March 18th to July 12th, 7:30 am to 2 pm or 1 pm to 8pm, Monday through Thursday.
Prior experience as a paralegal from a reputable firm is highly desirable, however we will also consider outstanding law students who have some experience working in a law firm environment. However, you must be able to commit to the length of the litigation matter.
