About us
We are looking for an experienced medical secretary who can travel between practices in Castle Hill and Blacktown mainly, on 2 separate days.
Qualifications & experience
- Prior medical secretarial work would be essential.
- Prefer candidate with prior cardiologist experience but this is non-essential.
- Prefer primary English speaking candidate with some capacity to speak Arabic also but this is non-essential.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Eclipse, dealing with Private Health Funds.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & word-processing essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering phone, booking patients, general medical communication.
- Responding to emails.
- Familiar with Medicare, Gap payments, Eftpos, Medicare refunds, Eclipse, Private Health Funds.
- Able to communicate with patients and doctors with respect.
- Familiarity with Clinic to Cloud medical software (non-essential) or willingness to learn.
