Unite Resourcing is a leading labour hire and recruitment company specialising in the mining, civil and construction industries.We have been engaged by one of our reputable clients to source a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join their Perth based team on a full-time basis.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will provide a range of support to the finance team across all areas of payroll and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with legislative guidelines for deductions, contributions, and benefits.
- Manage employee records, transfers, terminations, and oversee onboarding/offboarding in payroll systems.
- Input timesheets, organise shift information, and promptly address payroll inquiries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to offer guidance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support accounts receivable through receipt processing, follow-ups, and reporting on overdue amounts.
- Assist with accounts payable, handling data entry, payment processing, and reconciliations.
- Handle purchase orders, code and process invoices, and verify/set up new accounts.
- File documentation systematically and adhere to HSEQ policies.
- Provide written and verbal reports to management, carry out administrative tasks, and engage with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and accounts, with a focus on end-to-end payroll processing and accounts administration (experience in the resources sector advantageous).
- Experience in interpreting and working with EBA's.
- Proficient in handling multiple system integrations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with essential experience in Excel.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with weekly pay run and processing 450+ employees pay
