Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll for our employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for reliability and integrity in payroll management.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using our payroll software.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and seamless integration with payroll systems.
- Assist with payroll-related audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements as necessary.
- Previous experience working in payroll administration, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
