About the Role
Join our team of 5 as a Payroll & Office Administrator and play a key role in the expansion of our High-Rise Window Cleaning operations in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent position located at our head office in Rosebery, NSW. We're looking for a motivated individual who thrives under pressure, takes pride in projects (big & small), has outstanding communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. In this crucial role, you'll support our Shared Services team on various operational tasks, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day activities. Key duties include:
Payroll Function
- Facilitate end-to-end payroll processing including EOFY reporting.
- Monthly reporting of Personal, Annual, LSL & salary accruals.
- Statutory obligations – payroll tax, PAYG & superannuation guarantee contributions.
- Understand payroll compliance, general practices, procedures, operations, and legislation.
- Support for external audit requests.
- Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding of new employees.
- Facilitate the end-to-end offboarding of employees.
Shared Services & Executive Support
- Reception duties.
- Oversee order runs for office and kitchen supplies across all offices (we have 4!).
- Ordering and receipting of corporate uniforms.
- Uploading of business insurance policies to client portals.
- General administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team where required.
About You
We're looking for someone with a warm and engaging personality, who brings positive and sociable energy to our team. Ideal candidates will also have:
- Experience with Sage Micropay and Definitiv (Highly regarded).
- Proven background in payroll processing.
- Experience in office administration (Desirable).
- Background in working within service or trade-based sectors (preferred).
- Keen to learn and evolve alongside our fast-paced company.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Capacity to deliver under pressure, whether flying solo or as part of our team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Meticulous eye to detail.
- Natural flair for using initiative and tackling problems head-on.
