The Opportunity: We are operating in a space that's only going to get bigger, more innovative & increasingly dynamic. As a Payroll Officer you will be joining an industry leading healthcare organisation located in the Eastern Suburbs, with flexibility to also work from home. This exciting opportunity will be supporting a network of over 2500 staff nationally. As a Payroll Officer, reporting to the National Payroll Manager, you will work within our Operations team to prepare, analyse and investigate operational and payroll information Please Note: This role is a hybrid role, you will be working from home and office located in Norwood You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Processing end-to-end fortnightly payrolls
Prepare complex payroll data input including Award Interpretation, terminations and leave reconciliations
Identify system errors and implement corrective action where required
Entering new starters, terminations and variations
Submission of quarterly portable long service leave reports
Payroll reconciliations and EOM requirements
Be responsible for checking, quality control and maintenance of records
Proactively resolve any payroll related queries
Develop and perform standard reporting queries in the relevant payroll software or in Excel to identify inconsistencies
To be successful in this role you will have:
2 years + of end-to-end payroll processing experience is a must
Experience at an advanced level in using and developing reports, data manipulation and maintenance in Excel.
Experience with Tech One desirable, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail & high level of accuracy and communication both written and verbal.
Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
Capability to work efficiently from home and office-based environments.
