Payroll Officer

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officerto join our office-based team on St Kilda Road overlooking Albert Park.

You will have strong administrative processing experience and enjoy a high-volume role and have the ability to work autonomously with excellent time management and attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing

• End-to-end high-volume fortnightly payroll processing
• Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance system
• Processing new hires, transfers and terminations
• Support PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax & Payroll reporting
• Assist with maintenance of payroll systems
• Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
• Management and triage of a group mailbox

Things that matter to us

• 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume role (>2000 employees)
• Experience using PayGlobal (desired)
• Understanding of EBA and Award interpretation
• Healthcare experience desirable
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
• NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
• Eligibility to work in Australia
