Payroll Officer - High Volume

Due to continued growth within the business, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join us at our Banyo site. As a member of the payroll team your main role will be to ensure all employee pays are processed nationally on time, accurately and in compliance with the Award/Agreement for each state.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working with an experienced Payroll team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• End to end weekly payroll processing.
• Manage general queries and support the team.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address employee payroll inquiries and provide support.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless pay run.
• Stay updated with payroll regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate payroll administration.
• Assist in preparing payroll reports and contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payroll-related activities.
• Support payroll related projects form a nation perspective where required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a High Volume, multi-site environment with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy in your work
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes, legislation, and compliance is desirable.
• Intermediate experience of Microsoft Office especially excel.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
