Our client is a large ASX listed business with strong brand presence in Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a payroll specialist with expert knowledge of long service leave to join the group payroll team on a permanent basis.
Your responsibilities will include.
- Managing jurisdictional long service leave and entitlements
- As the subject matter expert for long service leave you will be required to stay up to date with legislation changes and provide training and guidance to the wider payroll team
- Managing all internal and external payroll related enquiries
- Knowledge of payroll processes, practice requirements and Australian payroll regulations.
- Knowledge of Australian superannuation regulations
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Excel formulas and functions for completing LSL calculations (e.g. VLookUp, if/sumif functions, iferror, concatenate, etc)
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
