Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist with PayGlobal expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to both people managers and employees, offering advice on payroll policies and procedures, and problem-solving complex payroll issues. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will manage data integrity, reporting, and system maintenance, while adhering to confidentiality and corporate responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process payroll accurately and in accordance with applicable awards, agreements, and tax requirements using PayGlobal.
- Provide timely and quality customer service, addressing inquiries from people managers and employees.
- Offer advice and support on payroll policies, regulations, and systems.
- Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues, collaborating with stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain payroll records and conduct reporting for compliance and analysis purposes.
- Administer and update payroll systems, providing support and training to users.
- Adhere to corporate policies and support initiatives related to risk management, gender equality, and child safety.

**Key Selection Criteria:**
- Substantial experience in payroll operations within a medium-sized organization.
- Proficiency in PayGlobal and other computerized payroll systems processing.
- Demonstrated ability to implement effective payroll practices and policies.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, policies, and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Experience using PayGlobal in a previous role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Certification in payroll processing or related area desirable.
- Prior experience in explaining complex payroll concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with local government industrial instruments and regulations preferred.
