A fantastic opportunity to join BOQ Group on a 6-month Maximum Term Contract within our People & Culture division.
The Payroll Project Officer role provides specialised payroll analytical support as part of the broader People Services team within People & Culture.
Principally this role will review, validate, and assess payroll model outcomes in accordance with guidance and advice from internal and external stakeholders, senior management advisors and governing committees.
This role will also provide support to the Project Manager in relation to ad hoc data analysis to support decision making and preparation of reporting outcomes.
Key Accountabilities -
- Data analysis and interpretation of payroll model outcomes ensuring accuracy of data outcomes.
- Development, usage and ongoing maintenance of quality assurance steps (processes and procedures) to manage consistent data analysis outcomes.
- Liaison with external and internal stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Preparation of mail merge for current and former employee correspondence.
- Supporting the project administrator in issuing and responding to current and former employee enquiries via the project mailbox and helpline.
- Responding to ad hoc data queries requested by the Project Manager or senior stakeholders to support key decision making.
- Supporting the Project Manager to provide reporting requirements for senior stakeholders, steering committee and the regulator.

It is a requirement that you have experience in a similar Payroll Officer/Analyst role, you must have an excellent excel and data analysis skillset, display a strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders across BOQ Group, build effective team relationships and demonstrate a professional attitude and approach at all times.
