PEER is a non-profit industry-based organisation, a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and National award winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering nationally accredited training packages to meet South Australia’s skill development needs.
THE POSITION
PEER is growing and we are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join us in our exciting journey.
Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture the role will partner with the business to enhance the culture, capability and business performance through working collaboratively with the PEER Executive Group, RTO, GTO and Apprentices and Trainees.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in HR Business Partnering, competent in the interpretation of industrial instruments including awards, agreements and legislation and have strong knowledge of contemporary employment relations practices (including the requirement for conducting high level workplace disciplinary and other investigations). Ideally they will have experience across the employee lifecycle, including HR Operations, learning & development, performance management, employee experience and managing HR initiatives.

HR Business Partnering
- Provide advice and support to the business for employee and industrial relations matters that support the business objectives and identify associated risks.
- Design, develop and implement the people & culture programs that enhance the culture, capability and business performance.
- Build collaborative relationships across to the business to support People and Culture initiatives.
- Maintain HR systems and processes to ensure compliance and a streamline process for staff.
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business or other relevant discipline (mandatory)
- Counselling, psychology and/or legal qualifications (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Accreditation in psychometric tools (desirable)
- Accreditation in change management methodology (desirable)
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in working in a generalist HR role/HR Business Partner role or similar.
- Proven experience in internal consulting.
- Proven experience in managing projects.
- Experience writing and negotiating enterprise agreements.
- Experience using a HR Management system.
