Over the next two years the FPC is preparing to undergo major transformation as a result of changes to forest policy. With the upcoming new Forest Management Plan 2024 -2033, the FPC will transition from large scale native forestry to increased plantation activity, with the government investment of $350 million into softwood plantations. Through the provision of consultancy services, the Business Partner will perform a key role in supporting our managers through this period of transition.

About the role
In this busy and challenging role, the People and Culture Officer provides an effective and customer focused transactional service relating to recruitment and selection and other operational HR processes. Effective quality assurance processes are provided to ensure services are timely and accurate and in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. The role will also provide support and advice to managers and employees on HR policies, practices and procedures.
