Are you ready for an exciting HR opportunity that offers variety, growth, and the chance to work alongside a highly passionate team? Maurice Blackburn is seeking a skilled HR professional to fill a 12 month fixed term contract role of People & Culture Business Partner on a full time basis. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support and build strong partnerships with our leadership team and employees, while actively contributing to our vibrant workplace culture.
What sets this role apart is the dynamic nature of our organisation. No two days will be the same as you tackle a diverse range of employment-related and day-to-day workplace matters. You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Head of P&C and the wider P&C team, leveraging your HR generalist skills and making a tangible impact on our organisation.

- Business partnering across the employee life cycle, supporting our leaders on people matters, ensuring compliance with our policies and EBA
- Workforce planning, ensuring short term and long-term needs are met and planned for
- Partnering with the talent team, developing, and running programs that enable an exceptional candidate, hiring manager, and employee experience
- Coaching leaders on running effective performance and development sessions, actively driving best practice and retention
- Implementing P&C policies and programs as required
- Educating our leaders and employees on MB policies
- Celebrating and recognising great work
- Working collaboratively with the L&D team and leaders to deliver training programs in support of individual growth aspirations and business requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve ways of delivering P&C services to Corporate Services teams, and following through from ideation through to implementation
- Beyond P&C, involvement in firm wide initiatives and exciting projects
- Using data and insights to develop meaningful strategies
- Mentoring and coaching more junior team members
