As a Personal Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our Family Law practice and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. Full-Time Personal Assistant:
In this role you will support two lawyers and offers considerable variety.
A typical day will include:
- Typing, editing and proof reading correspondence (including dictation, lengthy documents and tracked changes), Court documents and publications
- Liaising with clients, lawyers, and colleagues
- Diary and task management
- Telephone enquiries, including new client enquiries and some relief reception
- Invoicing
- Additional administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of a busy and high-profile Family Law practice
- Other administrative tasks as required
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years PA experience or professional experience in a legal administrative role as a Personal Assistant working in a reputable Family Law or litigation practice together with strong interpersonal, organisational, attention to detail, typing and computer skills.
Experience with all MS 365 Applications, Lexis Nexis Affinity, and emPower precedents will be highly regarded.
Requirements for the role:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Family Law processes and procedures is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and also part of team.
- Prior experience in the legal environment is however essential.
