An exciting opportunity exists for the Pharmacist Senior to deliver a specialised Mental Health Clinical Pharmacy Service to the Nambour General Hospital Inpatient Mental Health Units. Work collaboratively with the other pharmacists within Mental Health Services to provide the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service with best practice pharmaceutical care in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide supervision, support and mentoring to less experienced pharmacists, pharmacy interns and students and pharmacy assistants as required.
• This position has components of research and education both to multidisciplinary teams and to pharmacy staff, and is required to identify, develop, implement and maintain medication safety systems within Mental Health.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team within the SCHHS.
• Maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and skill which includes participation in Mental Health professional development activities, networks and other educational events

Remuneration value up to $152 776 p.a., comprising salary between $124 435 - $133 901 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4).
