We're excited to introduce a brand new career pathway that will lead you from a Physiotherapist into a workplace Injury Management or Health and Safety role.
Over the course of two years, not only will we equip you with the knowledge and skills to excel as an Occupational Clinician but also ensure you obtain all the necessary certifications for a smooth transition into an Injury Management or Workplace Health and Safety role.
As an Onsite Injury Prevention Specialist, your day will include but will not be limited to:
- Providing early intervention physiotherapy services onsite for clients to mitigate potential injuries
- Assist clients with treating WorkCover claims and supporting sustainable RTW outcomes
- Spending time outside of the treatment room getting to know our clients, their people and the inherent requirements of their jobs
- Collaborating closely with clients and Bodycare leadership to implement tailored injury prevention strategies
- Workplace risk assessments, job task analyses and other occupational health consulting

About you
To be eligible for this opportunity you must have;
- Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy (and full general AHPRA registration)
- Experience in musculoskeletal practice - 2 years private practice preferred
- Experience treating and managing WorkCover patients
- A willingness to connect with clients and their teams beyond the treatment room, fostering strong relationships and communication
- The drive to empower workers to actively engage in their recovery - at Bodycare we are driven by manually treating workers less, not more
