The Role
As a Maintenance Plumbing/Hydraulic Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians to complete planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests.
This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Assist the Area Manager, to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Plumbing/Hydraulic technicians.
- Maintenance, Fault finding, repair and minor project management work for our clients' Plumbing assets in line with current Australian Standards.
- Ability to interpret Plumbing schematics and competent in using Testing devices.
- Assumes responsibility for a group of customers or a region and ensures service delivery in accordance to the contract and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Responsible for growth of the assigned contracts through generation of additional work by providing innovative solutions to customers.
- Drives and coaches strong customer service culture within the team.
- Takes accountability for development of assigned Apprentices.
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of Apprentices, subcontractors and others in the delivery of quality service to our customers.
- Managing the delivery of the contractual obligations ensuring that the contractual KPI's are achieved.

- Manage daily operations of the Technicians, review various reports and assist State Manager where required
- Delivery of Maintenance Services to the agreed budget
- Managing a team of qualified technicians
- Efficient use of the technicians to deliver the services
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- OHS & E policies and procedures are met, maintained, and audited across the region
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Trade Licence
