About the Role
We are currently seeking a Part Time Point of Sale (POS) Administrator for our Moodie's Pharmacy. The hours for this part time role are from 9am – 12pm, 5 days a week.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, the POS Administrator will manage the stock and administrative functions within the pharmacy.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Responsible for complete operation of point of sale system including ordering, invoicing, stock take, pricing, ticketing and banking
- Ensure stock is ordered and received according to our standards and within identified time frames
- Liaising with the Retail and Business Managers to ensure efficient and coordinated flow of information, data and processes across the various sectors of the business
- Prepares and presents the storeroom and administration areas in accordance with "Quality Care Pharmacy Program" policies and procedures
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in IT systems
- Knowledge of stock control / procedures regarding retail inventory management (preferred)
- Retail POS or computer knowledge – including the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in administration and office management procedures
- Knowledge or experience in retail pharmacy industry (ideal)
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems using logical and rational decision-making processes in a timely manner
