Margaret River and Cowaramup Surgeries seek a fulltime Practice Manager to maintain our rural general practice across both locations and embrace growth as we expand in the near future.

Candidates with less experience than the preferred criteria, who have the qualities and potential we are seeking will be considered for this role.
Preferred:
- 5 years previous management experience in a General Practice or other medical specialist environment.
Responsibilities:
- In this key leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the practice, ensuring we provide outstanding care for our patients.
- Developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure efficiency of service and clinical excellence.
- Provide outstanding healthcare in accordance to the RACGP 5th Edition Guidelines.
- Managing people and culture; including rosters, onboarding and training of new team members and ongoing training and development.
- Cultivating a professional work environment that is friendly and service-focused.
- Financial management tasks such as payroll budgeting and monthly reporting.
Essentials:
- A positive and professional attitude befitting a healthcare setting.
- Experience in medical information management using Best Practice software.
- We utilize a range of clinical and scheduling software which requires highly developed computer and IT skills.
- Proven success in leading and engaging a multidisciplinary team, building and managing professional relationships with employees, other healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Financial management tasks, payroll, budgets, fee schedule revision, billings, stock control, financial statements and KPI & target analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the demands of the day-to-day operation of the practice; this requires adaptability, the ability to multitask and work well under pressure with proven ability to problem solve and time management skills.
- The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with proficiency in verbal and written English language.
- Knowledge of governing healthcare bodies such as Services Australia, PRODA & HPOS, Medicare, Practice Incentive Program, Workforce Incentive Program, DOH and Accreditation.
- An understanding of employment and fair work guidelines.
Highly Regarded:
- Diploma or Certificate in practice management or business management.
