Join our team of Nurse Practitioners and begin your journey in Primary Care Practice. You will have a spacious medical clinic, with an established patient flow and support from the NPCA team as well as the pharmacy staff on site daily.
About the Role:
This position is available on a full-time, part-time or casual basis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting calls to provide education, advice, and assistance to both male and female patients
- Managing treatment plans for patients, assessing their response to current treatment, prescribing medications, and making necessary adjustments within your scope of practice
- Triage presenting symptoms and collaborate with medical practitioners or pharmacists as needed
- Liaising with managers, medical practitioners, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and other team members
- Providing feedback to improve systems and processes, enhancing the overall patient experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed a Master of Nursing and possess current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
- Current PBS prescriber number or the ability to obtain one
- Recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary healthcare, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to both men and women (including hair loss, sexual health, skincare, and weight management)
Essentials
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in Primary Care or a similar setting.
- Advanced clinical experience in assessment, treatment, and health promotion within your scope of practice.
- This is a patient-focused role requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skillls
- We utilise a range of clinical and scheduling software which requires strong computer skills; experience with BP would be highly regarded.
