Principal Policy Officer

The Public Sector Commission (PSC) is seeking a Principal Policy Officer for a 12 month temporary appointment to deliver a transformative piece of work for the Complaints Clearinghouse Governance Unit.

Your opportunity:

As the Principal Policy Officer, Complaints Clearinghouse Governance Unit you will form part of a small, strategic and motivated team playing a key role in leading the development of legislation, frameworks and policies to align with the government's strategic goals and objectives.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• leading development of legislation and policy concepts
• providing high level authoritative advice
• liaising and partnering with stakeholders both internal and external to the sector
• drive team collaboration and mentor others through strong communication

You will have:

• strong engagement skills
• experience working in multi-faceted teams
• exceptional strategic policy and program delivery experience
• high level organisation and time management capabilities
• highly developed communications skills
