AddressThe Health & Safety Department at Edna May are seeking a Processing Trainer to join the team. Ideally, we are looking for you to have strengths in the safety and medical components with some exposure to leading the site emergency response training and attendance.
Working 8 days on, 6 days off, the team bus in and out from Perth in company time.
We have an established, comfortable camp in the regional Wheatbelt town of Westonia which provides access to a community swimming pool, local shop and fitness and gym facilities. The team have an authentic and welcoming culture, they enjoy their work and take pride in contributing to the success of the Edna May operations.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this role will:
- Deliver gold processing training to meet regulatory and production requirements.
- Ensure the training activities are planned to maximise plant and mill availability.
- Undertake training performance audits on the processing team.
- Identify skills gaps and training needs analysis.
- Coach and support Process Technicians.
- Ensure standards, procedures and safe operating instructions are adhered to.
- Record keeping is completed to a high standard.
- Develop an excellent interdepartmental relationship with the Edna May Processing team.
- Ensure training information flows freely and accurately between the two groups.
- Ensure the Edna May training equipment is maintained, calibrated and fit for use.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we would like to see;
- Experience delivering training and assessing activities within a gold processing facility.
- Extensive gold processing experience from at least Supervisor level on similar two stage crushing, SAG and Ball mill, gravity circuit and leach plant.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification.
- High Risk Work licence (LF, EWP and CN) and nationally accredited training qualifications in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
- A West Australian C class driver’s license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes.
