About the role
As a motivated and friendly Procurement officer, you will work closely with key stakeholders of the Business, including Logistics, Production, Finance and Marketing to further develop the new centralized procurement process.
Duties
- Source and identify new suppliers
- Lead and execute sourcing and post sourcing activities for Production and/or Non-production materials from both local and overseas suppliers
- Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders
- Manage purchase orders, delivery confirmation, scheduling and on time delivery to meet the master production plan
- Support Accounts Payable in the resolution of invoicing queries
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized and willing to follow up
- Experience with SAP is highly advantageous
