The Town is seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Procurement Officer to join our skilled team in a full-time capacity.
Your new role
This role will be responsible for the Town’s procurement process to ensure that the Town’s tender and contract management program are compliant with relevant legislation.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in procurement and contract management including knowledge and understanding of procurement policies and procedures within a local and public sector environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to build a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.
- ability to write complex reports, memos, and correspondences within the finance field.
- computer proficiency and demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products
