About the role

As a Procurement Services Coordinator for the Program Delivery team, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact Sydney Water’s people experience with your ability to deliver quality service and solutions on a range of Procurement Services with focus on the end-to-end Requisition to Pay (R2P) process.

You will interact with people leaders, employees and our Procurement function to support the Asset Lifecycle group and Program Delivery team who are responsible for upgrading and maintaining Sydney Water’s infrastructure needs.

The purpose of the role is to Provide Requisition to Pay (R2P) process support for the Program Delivery team across Sydney Water following the procurement framework, policy and procedures, delivering efficient, effective and compliant operational service.

About you

Our Procurement Services team are the friendly voice our stakeholders hear when they contact us on a broad range of R2P enquiries and services. You'll leave a lasting impression on your stakeholders by providing friendly, personal and efficient service.

You're empathetic and resilient. By walking in our stakeholders’ shoes, you'll ask the right questions to understand what they really need and find them the best solutions. You'll do your very best to resolve all enquiries on the first call and you'll achieve this by communicating, listening and learning.

We expect that you will have a background in Procurement Services with end to end Requisition to Pay experience, working in a shared service advisory capacity, or transferrable skills.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• 5+ years experience in Procurement Requisition to Pay process.

• Demonstrated experience in purchasing requisition, purchase order processing, goods and services receipt, maintenance and understanding the importance of data accuracy.

• Demonstrated customer service experience and outstanding stakeholder capabilities – ability to engage, build rapport, liaise and advocate the Requisition to Pay processes.

• Problem solving and enquiry skills to understand the nature of an enquiry and respond in an efficient way.

• Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.

• Proven ability to work within a team to deliver the team’s objectives.

• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Advanced ERP system experience: SAP and ARIBA.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft products and project administration systems.
