The role:
As the Product Manager, you will:
Set and drive the C&IB deposit product strategy and roadmap, to deliver business and customer outcomes, manage risks and drive sustainable deposits growth. Prioritise, engage and deliver through the Optimise My Cash (OMC) sub-domain, effectively managing allocated funding.
Play a leadership role and drive engagement within the Deposits and Liquidity Management team, and the Transaction Banking and Enterprise Payments team (TBEP) more broadly.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Compliance: Ensure deposit products are compliant with relevant policies and regulation.
Product Management: Own the end-to-end deposit product, including features and processes, to ensure they support the overall product strategy and proposition. This includes owning the backlog of features and initiatives to drive the strategic growth.
Management of internal and external stakeholders: including customer facing, suppliers and supporting divisions.
Proactively manage risk: meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.
Leadership and development of team: drive engagement and development of direct reports.
Skills Required:
Experience and industry knowledge across banking, transaction banking, and product management.
Experience managing operational risk with deep understanding of relevant operational risk frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in fostering strong team engagement and a high performing culture.
