International Equipment leader has been providing machinery into the Australian market for over 60 years. They have always prided themselves on making sure that their customer come first but they also look to be the key leaders in equipment sales throughout all of Australia. The business is growing at extremely fast rate and they are now seeking to hire a National Product Support Manager than can provide technical back up to key customers throughout all of Southern Australia.
Job Opportunity -
This role has been newly created due to the demand from the customers and with management and the national product specialist visiting client’s sites. They are really needing a proven Product Support Manager that can relive pressure internally but also bring balance to the sales and machine delivery. In this role you will be working with the customer once the machine has been sold. You will work closely in providing delivery and commissioning of the equipment. You will also be there on site on delivery and showing / train the customer in how to switch on the machine but train the client effectively so they can operate the machine properly.
You will then also be the first point of call from any customer in Australia that have problems technically or are struggling to diagnose any technical faults. Again you would try to trouble shoot the issue or if this still can’t be completed you would then jump on a plane and get to site as quickly as possible. You might have one of the service techs also meet with you and you would both travel to the customer to rectify the issue. If the problem is major you may need to get it sent back to one of the key operation sites and maybe cover off warrantee work or work on the machine to get it back to site quickly and efficiently.
All in all your technical experience and proven hands on experience with mobile crusher and screens is crucial to this role. You need to have a firm technical and commercial understanding of how these machines work but also have the trouble shooting experience to work through a technical direction over the phone.
Location – This role can be based in either Melbourne or Adelaide.
Candidate Requirements -
- 5 – 10 Years in trouble shooting and servicing Mobile Crushers.
- You Must understand crushing systems either Mobile or Fixed Plant.
- Trade qualifications.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- We are looking for someone that has the passion for these machines.
This will also gain some new responsibilities as time goes on and I would imagine you will be involved in the growth of the service department and overall direction of the technical side off the business. Salary Package –
- Base Salary $120,000 - $130,000
